What customers say?

“ Fabulous river side cafe, hearty food at great value, lovely staff, beautiful river views, outdoor seating in the summer and a log burner inside for the colder weather. Gluten free and vegetarian options. ”

- Rachel Redmore -

“ Popped into RR today for the first time on my motorcycle. Lovely place, lovely ladies behind the counter. To my amazement they even had a pack of Welsh cakes there. Eating them now! ”

- Davidpaul Hughes -

“ Warm, welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. I had the hearty vegetarian breakfast: hot and freshly cooked hash browns, vegetarian sausages, beans and fried egg. The cold weather demanded that I had a pudding - a slice of apple pie with custard, which was so delicious I had another slice of apple pie and some more custard. My friend had the eggs with smoked salmon on toast, a café latte and a slice of Victoria sponge cake with cream. Will definitely be back... ”

- Mrs Robinson -

“ Great food great price had a burger was lovely partner had breakfast was huge portion and he really enjoyed it. Advice do not sit by door its stiff as its new so never gets closed so if you like to be warm sit away from doors. ”

- Steph Killick -

“ Discovered this beautiful little place on a motorcycle ride out. We met there on a Wednesday evening and there were lots of different types of bikes. The owners were really sensible about parking and exiting the venue. There is a bar there and menu which catered for fast food on such a busy night. I revisited the place again on Sunday and had a burger and chips. Great service and really friendly crowd. Lots of activities based here, including paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing and small motor boat hire. Definitely going again on Wednesday and probably Sunday again too. ”

“ Went here over King Charles's coronation weekend. Lots of places to sit outside. They had a band playing and it was nice to sit outside next to the river and listen to the music with a cheeky pint and prosecco! The Eton mess I had was absolutely delicious! ”

- Emma Chase -

“ Riverside cafe on the banks of the River Medway, fine menu eat inside or out, looks a bit rustic but 4 out of 5 on cleanliness. Carpark and just a few minutes over Bow Bridge from Wateringbury Station ”
